White Zombie

Monsieur Beaumont invite Madeleine and Neil to get married on his Haitian plantation.His motives are purely selfish as he wants to convince the beautiful Madeleine to run away with him. For help, Beaumont turns to the devious Legendre, a man who can turn people into zombies. Beaumont uses the zombie potion on Madeleine, but is unhappy with the results. Meanwhile, Neil is convinced by a local priest that Madeleine may still be alive and desperately seeks her out.
