The Sorcerer's Apprentice

The Sorcerer's ApprenticeEpisode of Alfred Hitchcock presents that never aired on Tv because it was considered "too gruesome". Magician Sadini finds a young man passed out from hunger on the carnival grounds and takes him in. The simple boy, Hugowakes up and believes that he is dead and that Sadini and his wife are the devil and an angel. The opposite is more true. Sadini takes the kid under his wing and teaches him magic. His adulterous wife, meanwhile, decides to use the boy to murder her husband. In the end she gets what she deserves.
